Pune court sends summons to Akshay Khanna For Section 375
According to reports, a Pune lawyer filed a court case against Akshaye Khanna alleging that he had misrepresented the legal process in the trailer of his film and promos related to it on social media. In this case, the Pune Civil Court has now issued summons against Akshaye Khanna and the film’s makers. The court has raised some objections regarding the film’s trailer.
The petitioner says that there are some scenes in the trailer of the film in which lawyers openly ask vulgar and objectionable questions to the rape victim in the court room. Such scenes will scare rape victims in real life. In this case, actors and producers are to appear in court on 9 September. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, lawyer Wajid Khan Bidkar and student Amarjeet Mhaske filed a petition in a Pune court seeking a stay order on the film’s release.
Let us know that the film, released on September 13, is directed by Ajay Bahl. The film is based on Section 375 of the Indian Penal Code.
